Market Participant Update, October 2026

The Austrian rail market saw two changes among rail transport companies (RTCs) in October 2026.

CFL Cargo S.A. (LU) has received a safety certificate from ERA for Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, and Luxembourg. No application to use the ÖBB infrastructure has been submitted at this time.
P&B Green Rail GmbH (AT) has received a traffic permit from the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Mobility, and Infrastructure for rail freight transport in Austria.
The RU is a subsidiary of the construction company Pittel+Brausewetter, which operates in the fields of building construction, civil engineering, and railway construction.
